The Aim
The aim of this unit is to give learners an understanding of individual and group behavior in organisations and to examine current theories and their application in managing behavior in the workplace.
Unit abstract
We will explore organizational behavior and human motivation, quality management and process improvement, decision-making styles and strategic planning processes, leadership vs management, organizational design and structure, characteristics of effective change management and control systems, and the importance of ethics, law, stakeholder management and social responsibility in today’s fast-paced for-profit and non-profit organizations.
The Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this unit a learner will:
1 Introduce Fundamentals of Organizational Behaviour
2 Develop your skills in understanding and managing Individual Behaviour
3 Illustrate capacity in organizational process
4 Illustrate organizational Design, Change & Innovation , and emerging aspects of organizational behaviour
