Professor Kriya Pillay 簡介：
Professor Pillay 擁有美國華頓商學院行政人員教育學位；香港科技大學MBA學位；開普敦大學商學院MBA學位；納塔爾大學商學學士。她也是亞洲女子大學促進亞太地區可持續社會經濟發展的指導導師。
她具有15年以上國際六星級品牌酒店的團隊管理經驗。在收購喜達屋集團（歷史上最大的酒店業收購）領導了集團整個亞太地區的合併變更。
她具有豐富的人力資源管理經驗，結合傳統智慧及創新能力，使21個以上國家的15萬名員工和700多間酒店共同參與整合，產生協同效應，令員工滿意度增加80%.
在推動社會責任方面，她為婦女發聲並為女性創造就業機會，為AUW學生聘用了50多名導師，並在亞太地區萬豪辦公室和酒店安排畢業生擔任實習職位。真正做到取之於社會，回饋於社會。
The Aim
The aim of this unit is to give learners an understanding of individual and group behavior in organisations and to examine current theories and their application in managing behavior in the workplace.
The Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this unit a learner will:
1 Understand the organizational purposes of business
2 Understand the nature of the national environment in which businesses operate
3 Understand the behaviour of organisations in their market environment
4 Be able to assess the significance of the global factors that shape national business activities.
